1st Shift Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Job Description

• Supervise first-shift warehouse receiving, product selection, storage, shipping, and day-to-day operations in a full-time, on-site role in Petersburg, VA.
• Lead, schedule, train, coach, evaluate, motivate, retain, advance, and terminate direct reports while maintaining performance and staffing standards.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, maintenance, operational safety, and federal, state, and local regulations.
• Manage shipping plans, carriers, vendors, inventory and efficiency results, controllable expenses, payroll adjustments, and improvement action plans.
• Requires preferred high school diploma/equivalent or bachelor’s degree, preferred previous management experience, Microsoft Office proficiency, ability to work approximately 45 hours per week, and ability to lift up to 45 pounds in varying-temperature warehouse environments.
