2027 Industrial Engineering Summer Intern

Job Description

• Industrial engineering summer intern supporting projects across manufacturing operations and supply chain at facilities in Newark, DE; Elkton, MD; Phoenix, AZ; and Flagstaff, AZ.
• Work may be facility-based or hybrid and may cover manufacturing execution, manufacturing systems support, Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, value stream mapping, and sales operations.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, business, and information systems teams to improve productivity, efficiency, and operational effectiveness.
• Must be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in an approved engineering or engineering management field, have completed at least sophomore year, intend to return to school, and commit to at least 12 weeks.
• Requires foundational industrial engineering, Lean, continuous improvement, process mapping, workflow analysis, and operational excellence knowledge; strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and data interpretation skills.
• Compensation is $25.00–$27.00 per hour; U.S. work authorization, drug screening, and background screening are required.
