Job Description
• Full-time, 10-month 8th Grade Social Studies teaching role at a public charter school in Baton Rouge, LA.
• Plan and deliver blended-learning Social Studies instruction aligned with state standards and participate in TAP requirements focused on data-driven instruction.
• Assess and track student mastery using daily feedback and weekly assessments; prepare students for academic achievement and required assessments.
• Requires a bachelor’s degree or higher with at least 24 credit hours in the content area and a valid Louisiana Teaching License for Grades K-5 or 6-8.
• Requires strong classroom technology-integration skills and demonstrated volunteer or community service; collaborate with parents, Special Education teachers, and administration.
