Accounting Manager Hybrid Law firm

Job Description

• Lead hybrid accounting operations for a law firm, with ownership of client trust accounting, reconciliations, disbursements, and financial reporting.
• Manage and develop six direct reports while overseeing accounting accuracy, timeliness, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct financial audits, reconcile ledger accounts, and ensure compliance with trust agreements, trust regulations, legal requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; 7+ years of accounting experience; and prior managerial or supervisory experience.
• Requires CPS Plus or equivalent financial management software proficiency and Microsoft Office/Excel skills; CPA or CMA preferred. Birmingham, AL; $120,000–$155,000/year; full-time.
