Adjunct Faculty, Physical Education

Job Description

• Teach assigned physical education courses, prepare lesson plans, develop syllabi, and align instruction with approved course objectives and measurable learning outcomes.
• Evaluate courses and student learning, maintain accurate records and required forms, hold office hours, and provide student consultation, advising, orientation, and registration support.
• Participate in scholarly and creative activities, curriculum evaluation, assessment, program review, committees, recruitment, retention, mentoring, and required professional development.
• Requires a master’s degree or a master’s degree with at least 18 graduate credits in a related field, credentialing eligibility, and at least one year of full-time teaching or equivalent adjunct teaching experience; higher education experience is preferred.
• Part-time, on-site work performed within Colorado; background check and, when applicable, motor vehicle records report required. No visa sponsorship; must be authorized to work in the United States.
