Adjunct Instructor of Electrical Engineering

Job Description

• Part-time, on-site Adjunct Instructor teaching in-person lectures and labs in Electrical or Computer Engineering Technology at Penn State Altoona in Altoona, PA, beginning Spring 2027.
• Primary teaching focus is PLC programming, microcontrollers, and embedded controllers with applications; additional areas include circuits, electronics, digital design, electric machines, automatic control systems, and computer I/O.
• Requires a Master’s degree or equivalent education and experience in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related field; college-level teaching experience is preferred.
• Requires commitment to active, collaborative, student-centered learning and instructional technology, plus submission of a letter, CV, and at least three professional references.
