Job Description

• Teach and supervise mathematics students using approved curricula, syllabi, assessments, instructional standards, technology, and educational resources.
• Assess student performance, provide timely feedback, maintain instructional records, advise students, and connect them with College resources.
• Participate in recruitment, retention, engagement, curriculum development, program assessment, continuous improvement, professional development, and institutional responsibilities.
• Requires a Master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in Mathematics or Mathematical Statistics from a regionally accredited college/university; a Mathematics master's degree and at least one year of college-level teaching experience are preferred.
• Requires Microsoft Office and intermediate computer skills, Internet-based interactive teaching experience, Blackboard knowledge, responsible AI-tool use, official transcripts/certifications within 30 days of hire, fingerprinting, and criminal history and/or motor vehicle records checks; assignments may involve Alvin-area and TDCJ locations.
