Job Description

• SemiAnalysis is hiring an AI Forward Deployment Analyst, listed as AI Analyst - Reinforcement Learning (RL), for a full-time role based in San Francisco, CA / the United States.
• Analyze AI model deployment patterns across hyperscalers, enterprises, and emerging AI-native startups.
• Evaluate inference tradeoffs involving hardware platforms, model architectures, batching strategies, and serving frameworks.
• Model how latency, throughput, availability, and scaling constraints affect AI product margins, token costs, and unit economics.
• Translate production deployment decisions into investment-grade economic insights for AI Tokenomics and AI Economics frameworks.
• Requires a background in ML/AI, computer science, or systems engineering; strong AI inference knowledge; analytical ability; and comfort connecting technical and economic reasoning.
