AI Business Analyst Intern

Job Description

• Hybrid AI Business Analyst Intern role with Vylor’s Innovation & Operations Management team in Johnston, Iowa, focused on agriculture, crop science, biotechnology, gene editing, and molecular breeding.
• Analyze business processes, document workflows, gather stakeholder requirements, map processes, and support data-driven decision-making.
• Build and test AI agents, automated workflows, proof-of-concept solutions, refined prompts, and chained LLM calls using agentic AI techniques.
• Prepare and connect structured data for AI inputs, demonstrate solutions, train end users, and document lessons learned.
• Requires foundational programming skills, ideally Python; familiarity with OpenAI or Anthropic APIs, prompt engineering, SQL, pandas or spreadsheets; and practical agentic AI experience with tool/function calling and frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• Must currently pursue a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree, maintain a minimum 3.000/4.000 GPA, and have permanent U.S. work authorization.
