Aircraft Technician

Job Description

• Perform FAA-approved progressive, 50-hour, 100-hour, annual, and scheduled inspections on fixed-wing and rotor-wing aircraft used for flight training.
• Conduct maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, sheet-metal work, powerplant repairs, hydraulic and landing-gear maintenance, propeller servicing, weight-and-balance calculations, and engine performance checks.
• Work as a designated technician under FAA Part 145 Repair Station certificate #OG5R092N and comply with FARs, Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, Service Letters, MEL requirements, and other regulatory requirements.
• Complete FAA logbooks, Form 337, inspection records, work orders, return-to-service entries, and other required documentation; approve aircraft and components for return to service using an A&P certificate.
• Requires an FAA A&P certificate with current FAR Part 65.83 status, an Associate Degree in Aircraft Maintenance or a high school diploma plus 3 years of directly related experience, background-check completion, and onsite work in Grand Forks, ND.
