Assistant Chief Financial Officer

Job Description

• Lead the Financial Accounting and Reporting Department as part of the financial leadership pipeline into the hospital CFO role.
• Apply healthcare finance principles to influence clinical and financial results and execute HCA Healthcare’s capital asset management process.
• Oversee hospital accounting, internal controls, compliance requirements, productivity, staffing and scheduling.
• Demonstrate knowledge of HIM and Case Management/Care Coordination functions and establish executive presence.
• Requires a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related area and at least three years of finance/accounting or public accounting/audit experience; a related master’s degree, hospital Controller experience, supervisory experience and CPA are preferred.
• Full-time role at TriStar Summit Medical Center in Hermitage, TN; compensation is incentive eligible.
