Assistant Director of Food And Beverage

Job Description

• Assistant Director role supporting all aspects of food and beverage operations across restaurants, bars, lounges, banqueting, and room service at a Forbes Five-Star property in the Eastern US.
• Requires five to seven years of food and beverage management experience and a college degree, preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management.
• Directs department activities, enforces quality standards and policies, monitors payroll and staff performance, and conducts reviews, recruitment interviews, and team development.
• Develops annual income and expenditure plans, maximizes department profit, controls costs, and contributes to the hotel's annual marketing plan.
• Requires strong leadership, interpersonal, analytical, communication, community-relations, team-motivation, business-acumen, prioritization, adaptability, and service-oriented skills.
