Assistant Produce Manager

Job Description

• Full-time, on-site Assistant Produce Manager role with Albertsons Companies in Lucas, TX, supporting grocery produce department operations.
• Lead and coach produce associates; assign daily work, support training, coordinate coverage, and assume department leadership when the Produce Manager is unavailable.
• Manage produce freshness, quality, stocking, rotation, preparation, merchandising, ordering, inventory, shrink control, pricing, displays, and records.
• Enforce food safety, sanitation, refrigeration, temperature-control, product-handling, workplace-safety, and loss-prevention procedures.
• Requires preferred prior produce, grocery, food service, merchandising, retail, or leadership experience; competitive wages paid weekly; no degree, certification, or license is specified.
