Job Description
• Full-time, on-campus Assistant Professor role in English and/or Composition-Rhetoric at Alfred State College in Alfred, NY, beginning Fall 2027.
• Teach 15 credits per semester in first-year writing and introductory literature courses.
• Perform faculty service through advisement, assessment, committee service, and curriculum development.
• Master's degree in English or a related field required at appointment; Ph.D. preferred, with clear evidence of successful teaching required.
• Starting salary of $55,000, commensurate with education and experience.
