Job Description

• Tenure-track Assistant Professor role in Mathematics focused on the mathematical foundations of Quantum Information Science at the University of Texas at Arlington in Arlington, TX.
• Establish and maintain an active, independent research program producing high-quality scholarly publications and external funding, with a strong record of research accomplishment preferred.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate mathematics courses and advise or mentor students, including supervision of research projects, theses, and dissertations.
• PhD in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related area required; candidates must be legally able to accept work in the United States, and visa sponsorship is unavailable.
• Position may involve access to critical infrastructure, requiring compliance with Texas Executive Order GA-48 and routine criminal background checks.
