Assistant Professor of English (Health Humanities and Literature)

Job Description

• Tenure-track, full-time Assistant Professor position in Health Humanities and Literature at Elon University in Elon, NC; campus-based role beginning mid-August 2027.
• Teach up to six classes annually, including introductory and advanced literature, first-year writing, and interdisciplinary Elon Core Curriculum courses.
• Required: Ph.D. in English by the start date, training and expertise in Health Humanities and Literature, and a record of innovation and excellence in teaching.
• Candidates with experience working with diverse populations should address contributions to an inclusive climate in their cover letters.
