Job Description
• Hamilton College seeks a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Neuroscience beginning July 1, 2027, based in central New York, United States; work mode is not specified.
• Teach Fundamentals of Neurobiology, a laboratory course in the candidate’s specialty, a student research supervision course, and an elective course.
• Preferred specialization is behavioral neuroscience or neurobiology, with an emphasis on non-human animal research.
• Provide institutional service, including academic advising of undergraduate students after the first year; teaching load is four courses in year one and five courses thereafter.
• Candidates with ABD will be considered, although a Ph.D. is preferred; candidates must demonstrate teaching or work experience with broadly diverse student populations.
