Job Description
• Teach 24 credits per 10-month academic year, including introductory and upper-level physics courses and laboratories, at Augustana College in Rock Island, IL.
• Develop an undergraduate-involved research program, with preference for experimentalists, and contribute specialty or interdisciplinary physics/engineering courses.
• Participate in interdisciplinary teaching and research, departmental service, program development, and community engagement.
• Requires a Ph.D. in Engineering Physics, Physics, Applied Physics, Engineering, or a comparable field by August 26, 2027; ABD candidates will be considered.
• Tenure-track, full-time position beginning in August 2027; compensation is $60,000-$63,000/year. Apply by October 23, 2026.
