Job Description

• Full-time, 9-month Assistant Professor of Practice teaching biotechnology and genomics at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX.
• Teach in an area of expertise, mentor students in professional and career preparation, and liaise with professional contacts and entities for the department or program.
• Requires a Ph.D. in a related area and a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience; graduate teaching experience counts.
• Requires demonstrated expertise in genomics, long-read sequencing, single-cell genomics, bioinformatics, or related fields, plus relevant scholarly or applied contributions.
• Requires successful completion of a comprehensive background check and continued compliance with critical-infrastructure regulations, security reviews, and Texas Executive Order GA-48 requirements.
