Associate Director, Translational Research and Biomarkers

Job Description

• Associate Director-level translational biomarker role supporting biomarker-driven drug development programs for autoimmune and neurologic diseases in a remote, United States-based position.
• Requires a PhD or MS in Immunology, Neuroscience, Molecular Biology, Genomics, Pharmacology, or a related scientific discipline, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in translational medicine, biomarker sciences, clinical research, or clinical development within immunology and/or neurology.
• Leads biomarker strategies involving TE/PD biomarkers, patient stratification, mechanism-of-action hypotheses, indication and patient-population selection, assay oversight, biomarker analysis plans, and interpretation of clinical biomarker data.
• Partners with Research, Preclinical, Clinical, Bioanalytical, Genomics, Regulatory, Project, external laboratory, and other stakeholders; contributes to clinical study documents, regulatory submissions, health-authority responses, and governance presentations.
• Requires expertise in RNA-Seq, exome and whole genome sequencing, proteomics, multiplex flow cytometry, bioinformatics, multi-omics, digital biomarkers, global clinical research regulations, GCP principles, and biomarker-related regulatory considerations; salary range is $169,222–$253,000 plus incentive opportunity; full-time.
