Job Description

• Private Equity Associate role at a Washington, DC-based private equity firm investing in lower-middle-market companies across the broader industrial space.
• Execute market and industry research; build financial models and perform valuation, returns, budgeting, and forecasting analyses for investment targets.
• Lead due diligence processes, monitor the existing investment portfolio, and assist with operating and portfolio company work.
• Requires 1–3 years of M&A investment banking experience at a reputable middle-market or lower-middle-market bank, or related transaction advisory consulting experience, plus 1–3 years of private equity experience at a reputable middle-market or lower-middle-market firm.
• Requires a Bachelor's Degree, superior financial analysis and modeling skills, successful completion of a modeling test, excellent interpersonal skills, and an exceptional work ethic; prior experience or interest in business services, distribution, industrials, or manufacturing is preferred.
