Aviation Safety Manager

Job Description

• Lead and standardize Avflight’s Safety Management System across a multi-location FBO network in Ann Arbor, MI-based operations.
• Manage safety teams, serve as the primary safety subject matter expert, and support General Managers and operational leaders.
• Ensure compliance with FAA, OSHA, EPA, NFPA, ATA, and other regulatory requirements through audits, inspections, risk assessments, and corrective actions.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, fuel quality events, and safety reports; perform root cause analysis and track corrective actions.
• Requires 5+ years of aviation safety/SMS experience, leadership experience, a High School Diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, background check and pre-employment drug test, U.S. work authorization, and frequent travel.
