Job Description
• Perform on-aircraft avionics and electrical system installation, testing, troubleshooting, repair, and component or wiring replacement in accordance with engineering specifications, drawings, and maintenance manuals.
• Conduct functional and operational tests, maintain test equipment and electronic systems, document completed aircraft work, and prepare work for inspection.
• Apply acceptable wiring repair techniques, including splicing, soldering, and pinning, while complying with engineering modifications, FOD, tool control, 5-S, safety, and aircraft certification requirements.
• Requires a high school diploma or GED plus four years of avionics/electrical experience, or two years of accredited aviation-electronics schooling plus two years of related experience; A&P, FCC, and NCATT credentials are preferred.
• Full-time, first-shift, on-site position in Savannah, GA, with up to 25% travel; must be able to climb stairs/ladders, work in confined areas, lift up to 50 pounds, communicate in English, and work without visa sponsorship unless currently sponsored by Gulfstream.
