Avionics/Electronics Technician

Job Description

• Perform inspection, testing, component-level repair, calibration, and maintenance of aircraft avionics/electronic components in a bench repair environment in Madison, MS.
• Apply intermediate-to-advanced electronic principles, circuit analysis, schematics, technical manuals, soldering, cable/crimp/harness fabrication, and corrosion-control methods.
• Use oscilloscopes, digital meters, counters, circuit analyzers, hand tools, and precision measuring equipment to determine performance and airworthiness and repair defective components.
• Complete maintenance records, parts tracking, Service Reports, and 8130-3 documents in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies.
• Requires a High School Diploma plus a 2-year Electronic Degree and 1–2 years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma and 3–4 years of relevant experience; full-time position with compensation undisclosed.
