Job Description
• Install, troubleshoot, test, modify, and verify certified and experimental avionics systems in FAR Parts 23, 25, 27, and 29 aircraft at Garmin's Mesa Gateway Airport location.
• Prepare aircraft wiring harnesses, perform wire termination and fabrication, modify aircraft panels and remote-mounted avionics equipment, and troubleshoot installation interconnects.
• Develop installation documentation, testing and training plans; use ramp test equipment; and partner with Engineering on new installation documentation.
• Complete repair station and aircraft paperwork, including logbook entries, FAA 337, and W&B documentation, while complying with FAA, DOT, pitot-static, transponder, and RVSM requirements.
• Requires a High School Diploma or GED, at least 5 years of general aviation, maintenance, or avionics experience, and experience with piston, turbine, and turbojet aircraft; FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification and AutoCAD experience are desired.
