Job Description

• Bioinformatics Scientist I developing and optimizing methods and algorithms for detecting, reporting, and analyzing alterations in tumor DNA and RNA.
• Supports biomarker and companion diagnostics development through high-volume processing, analysis, and interpretation of product-development and validation data.
• Requires a Master's degree in a relevant discipline, 1+ years of industry, academic medical center, or post-doctorate experience, and proficiency in R and Python; PhD and 3+ years of industry experience are preferred.
• Works collaboratively on diagnostic products using massively parallel sequencing of tumor genomic DNA and RNA; role is hybrid and associated with Morrisville, NC, with the description listing Boston, MA as the primary salary location.
• Must understand HIPAA and patient-data privacy and demonstrate molecular biology/genomics knowledge, high-throughput sequencing or cancer research experience, communication, organization, collaboration, and independent problem-solving skills.
