Job Description

• Provide on-site per diem nursing support for patients, newborns, and families throughout antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care in a Birth Center.
• Cover 12-hour call shifts from 7:00am-7:00pm or 7:00pm-7:00am, totaling 3 shifts in six weeks, including two weekend shifts.
• Conduct patient assessments, develop and evaluate care plans, administer and document therapeutic interventions, coordinate care, and manage rapidly changing clinical situations.
• Requires a minimum of 2 years’ labor and delivery experience, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Nursing, graduation from an accredited nursing school, NJ RN licensure, NRP, and BLS; ACLS is preferred.
• Per diem compensation is a $50.25 flat rate; additional postpartum, newborn, and lactation experience is preferred.
