Boilermaker

Job Description

• Perform maintenance-shutdown work removing, replacing, and repairing piping systems and coal-fired boiler components in Deer Park, TX.
• Troubleshoot coal-fired power plant machinery and equipment, dismantle and reassemble pumps, and work with flue gas desulfurization equipment.
• Fabricate steel and minor pipe sections using torches, band saws, plasma cutters, grinders, field measurements, and welding preparation procedures.
• Requires 6+ years of experience, NCCER written or NCCER Plus certification, NCCER Industrial Boilermaker certification, and a valid driver’s license.
• Must work on-site in indoor and outdoor industrial environments, including heights, confined spaces, rotating nights/weekends, overtime, and varying weather conditions; pre-employment background screening and drug testing required.
