Job Description

• Full-time, 3–4-year postdoctoral fellowship beginning Fall 2027 at the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, CA.
• Conduct independent research in theoretical physics and astrophysics, with potential areas including cosmology, condensed matter theory, general relativity, particle/string theory, mathematical physics, and quantum information.
• Requires a PhD in Physics, Astronomy, or a related field, completed or expected by the start date; current postdoctoral scholars are eligible.
• Submit a CV, research statement of no more than 5 pages excluding references, publication list with refereed papers on top, and ensure at least three reference letters are submitted.
• Salary is $88,000 in the first year, with a $10,000-per-annum research fund and a one-time moving allowance; application deadline is November 15, 2026.
