Business Insurance Underwriting Professional Development Program (BI UPDP) Internship

Job Description

• Travelers internship in commercial property and casualty insurance underwriting based in Hartford, CT; 10-week program running from early June to mid-August
• Evaluate insurance risk acceptability and pricing concepts through underwriting assignments, training modules, territorial risk assessments, and business process analyses
• Complete professional development coursework, collaborate independently or with other interns, and present findings to local leadership
• Apply analytical and artificial intelligence tools while critically evaluating the quality and accuracy of AI-assisted outputs
• Requires authorization to work for any U.S. employer now and in the future, a pursuing or completed Bachelor's degree, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office; no H-1B, TN, or Forms I-983/STEM OPT sponsorship
