Case Specialist I / II - Certificates of Convenience & Necessity

Job Description

• Lead strategic project management for major regulatory filings, including rate cases, resource planning, certificates of need, investigations, compliance filings, tariff proposals, and rulemaking initiatives.
• Manage regulatory case evaluation, preparation, processing, implementation, schedules, testimony, exhibits, data requests, filing packages, comments, and reports submitted to regulatory commissions.
• Direct interdisciplinary teams, coordinate internal and external stakeholders, support negotiations and agency representation, and manage multiple large projects simultaneously.
• Interpret regulatory laws, rules, policies, procedures, precedent-setting orders, and competitive regulatory issues across multiple jurisdictions; maintain compliance with case schedules and cybersecurity policies.
• Requires BA/BS in Business or related discipline, 5+ years of regulatory experience preferred for Case Specialist I or 8–10 years required for Case Specialist II; periodic overnight travel and extensive overtime required.
• Hybrid role based in Santa Fe, NM (+1 other), with many roles onsite Tuesday–Thursday; compensation is $90,000–$130,000 per year.
