CDL A Regional Container Driver - Take Your Truck Home

Job Description

• American Driver is hiring a full-time, on-site CDL A Regional Container Driver based in Springfield, MO, with regional intermodal routes within 300 miles across Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Iowa, Nebraska and Illinois.
• Drive company-owned tractors, containers and chassis between Kansas City or St. Louis rail yards and customer locations; 75% of work is drop-and-hook and the remaining freight is loaded or unloaded by customers.
• Work Tuesday through Saturday, with Sunday and Monday off; drivers take their trucks home and average $1,500/week, approximately $78,000/year.
• Requires age 21+, a valid Class A CDL, qualifying verifiable tractor-trailer experience, Hazmat certification within 90 days, a safe parking location, acceptable driving history, and successful hair and urine drug testing.
• Compensation includes $0.56-$0.61/mile, accessorial pay, a $10,000 sign-on bonus, and $225/day during 3-5 days of training in Kansas City.
