Change Order Estimator

Job Description

• PrideStaff is hiring a full-time, exempt Change Order Estimator for in-person work in Scottdale, GA, supporting commercial and industrial structural steel projects.
• Review design and revision drawings, identify scope changes, perform Bluebeam markups, and quantify material, labor, and fabrication impacts.
• Use Tekla EPM and Microsoft Excel to prepare estimates, maintain change-order tracking logs, and support accurate cost capture.
• Solicit, evaluate, negotiate, and incorporate subcontractor quotes into complete Change Order Request packages for client approval.
• Requires structural steel fabrication and erection knowledge, drawing/document interpretation, advanced Excel and PDF-editing skills, strong mathematical ability, accuracy, organization, self-direction, and communication; preferred qualification is a related bachelor’s degree or equivalent minimum of 5 years of hands-on structural steel fabrication or estimating experience.
