Job Description
• On-site Chemical Pilot Plant Operator role in Morris, MN, supporting green ammonia pilot-scale research, testing, scale-up, and commercialization in a 24/7 sustainable energy environment.
• Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, maintain, and modify reactors, pumps, compressors, separation equipment, analytical instruments, and related pilot-plant systems.
• Collect and prepare samples; install, calibrate, and maintain gas chromatographs and gas analyzers; analyze operational data and prepare summaries, charts, reports, and SOP improvements.
• Requires a High School Diploma plus at least 10 years of relevant hands-on experience, or an Associate’s Degree plus at least 5 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination; pilot plant, industrial process, chemical processing, energy systems, gas chromatography, or process instrumentation experience is preferred.
• Must work rotating 8-hour day or overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed; follow PPE, hazardous-material handling, safety, and compliance requirements. Pay is $25.00-$40.00/hr; full-time, 3-month engagement with potential for continued employment.
