Chief Financial Officer

Job Description

• Executive-level Chief Financial Officer role for CarePartners/HCA Healthcare overseeing multiple North Carolina campuses: 4 Critical Access Hospitals, 1 Community Hospital, and 1 Post Acute Hospital.
• Directs hospital financial departments, accounting, reimbursement, managed care, health information, utilization review, resource allocation, annual budgets, operational plans, capital budgets, and financial/statistical reporting.
• Leads cost-reduction and revenue-growth analysis, financial forecasting, denials and reimbursement optimization, charge-master accuracy, contract profitability reviews, and identification of business trends and opportunities.
• Ensures timely submission of payroll tax, public disclosure, third-party payor cost, and other financial reports required by government and regulated agencies.
• Requires a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; 4+ years preferred in a Hospital Controller, Assistant CFO, or VP of Finance role; master's degree and CPA preferred.
