Job Description
• Chief Physicist role with Baptist Memorial Health Care in Jackson, MS; full-time, with work mode not specified.
• Oversees the physics/dosimetry area and coordinates treatment-planning processes in a hospital-based Radiation Oncology program.
• Performs acceptance testing, commissioning, measurements, calibration, and ongoing quality assurance for linear accelerators, treatment planning systems, imaging/therapy equipment, and other equipment.
• Requires ABR certification, 5 years of experience, previous Chief Physicist experience in a hospital-based Radiation Oncology program, and a Master's Degree.
• Requires ABR; BLS within 30 days of hire; ACMP; advanced computer literacy, leadership, communication, and detail-oriented skills.
