Job Description

• Child Welfare and Attendance Liaison serving West Covina Unified in West Covina, CA; full-time, on-site school-district role with hours of 7:30 AM–4:00 PM.
• Confer with students, parents, staff, and community agencies about attendance and welfare concerns through home visits, parent conferences, and meetings.
• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; three years of successful public-school experience is preferred, and Spanish-speaking ability is preferred.
• Must pass the Instructional Assistant Examination, possess and maintain a valid insurable California Driver’s License, and complete required fingerprinting, drug screening, tuberculosis testing, and mandated safety/compliance certifications.
