Clinical Laboratory Technician

Job Description

• Perform routine and complex clinical laboratory testing, specimen processing, reagent/control evaluation, and result reporting at Ascension St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK.
• Monitor, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory instrumentation; perform preventive maintenance and quality control procedures.
• Requires an Associate’s degree in Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology; qualifying non-traditional degrees with applicable science credits meeting CLIA standards may be accepted.
• Requires 1 years or more of clinical laboratory testing experience; ASCP or AMT certification is preferred.
• Part-time, on-site schedule consists of two 10-hour shifts Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–4:30 pm, with rotating weekends and holidays; overtime or other shifts may be required.
