Job Description
• Perform routine and complex hematology laboratory testing, specimen evaluation, and technical procedures in Burlington, NC.
• Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory instrumentation, reagents, controls, and testing supplies.
• Report accurate and timely results to support quality patient care while following departmental SOPs, quality control, and preventative maintenance procedures.
• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology; qualifying non-traditional degrees may meet CLIA standards.
• Preferred: 3 months or more of clinical laboratory testing experience and ASCP or AMT certification; must pass a standardized color blindness test and be able to work Tuesday–Saturday, 12:30am–9:00am, with overtime or shift flexibility.
