Clinical Office Assistant, CMA, PRN

Job Description

• Provide patient care activities under the supervision of a physician, physician extender, or registered nurse and according to established guidelines and standards.
• Perform variable front-office and back-office clinical office functions.
• Requires a high school diploma or GED plus graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program, or an alternative of two (2) years of medical assistant or related clinical experience.
• Requires 1 year of medical office experience when completing a Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program, or two (2) years of medical assistant or related clinical experience in lieu of the formal program.
• Requires CMA-AAMA or similarly recognized certification and BCLS certification upon hire.
