Cloud Security Architect Jobs

Job Description

• Define cloud security requirements and translate policy into actionable operational processes for DoD initiatives in AWS, Azure, or infrastructure-as-a-service environments.
• Develop cloud accreditation frameworks, security policies, baseline controls, assessment methodologies, and continuous monitoring strategies while guiding systems through accreditation and authorization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, Security and Compliance teams, and architects to implement secure cloud solutions and conduct architecture reviews.
• Apply DoD accreditation requirements, impact levels, NIST/RMF/STIG frameworks, control overlays, Zero Trust, and cloud governance models; Secret clearance is required, with TS/SCI clearance preferred.
• Requires 2+ years of relevant cloud security experience, a bachelor's degree, and the ability to obtain DoD Directive 8570 or 8140 Series IAT Level II Certification within 90 days of hire; full-time role in McLean, VA with work mode not explicitly specified.
