CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant - Long Term Care

Job Description

• Full-time Certified Nursing Assistant/Nursing Assistant role at Good Samaritan Olathe Center in long-term care, working 8-hour day shifts totaling 40 hours weekly.
• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse, including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, vital signs, psychosocial support, transfers, repositioning, walking, and range-of-motion exercises.
• Assist with meals, snacks, hydration, food preparation, dining, housekeeping, laundry, wellness and recreational programs, and procedures performed by providers or nursing staff.
• Document resident care, behavior, activities, dietary information, interactions, outcomes, specimens, and vital signs; communicate changing conditions and concerns to the charge nurse.
• Requires CNA certification through the State Board of Nursing or certification within four months, annual competency testing, at least 12 hours of continuing education annually, and applicable UAP Registry registration; prior long-term-care experience is preferred.
• Olathe, KS position paying $17.00-$25.50, depending on experience, with sign-on bonuses available for part-time and full-time CNAs.
