Job Description
• CNC Machinist I role with Aerotek in Thornton, CO, supporting clean energy, advanced research, space exploration, next-generation EV, and autonomous vehicle projects.
• Fully onsite, contract-to-hire position operating, setting up, and adjusting CNC mills and lathes using conversational programming.
• Produce high-precision components; interpret blueprints; select tooling, fixtures, and machining parameters; perform first-article and in-process inspections.
• Use calipers, micrometers, and gauges; complete production, quality, and compliance documentation; perform preventative maintenance, deburring, and occasional shipping support.
• Requires 1+ years of CNC machine operation experience, conversational mill/lathe setup experience, and blueprint-reading skills; pay is $26.00-$34.00/hr.
