CNC Programmer

Job Description

• Develop, optimize, verify, and maintain CNC programs for milling, turning, and multi-axis precision machining operations.
• Create machining strategies, tooling selections, setup sheets, tooling documentation, and manufacturing instructions.
• Review drawings, models, and customer specifications; support manufacturability, first-piece validation, new product introductions, and production troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Production, machinists, setup personnel, and Manufacturing Engineering on fixtures, tooling, process improvements, safety, quality, and productivity.
• Requires an Associate degree in Manufacturing Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience; minimum three (3) years of CNC programming experience in precision machining; CAM proficiency; and knowledge of CNC processes, blueprints, GD&T, and multi-axis machining.
• Preferred: aerospace, defense, or AS9100-certified manufacturing experience; 4-axis/5-axis and Fanuc experience; ERP/MRP familiarity; fixture design; process development; and lean manufacturing knowledge. Full-time, $40–50/hour; work mode not specified.
