Community Education - Dance Instructor

Job Description

• Teach safe, engaging, age-appropriate classical ballet and additional dance classes for beginner through advanced students across various age groups in Pikeville, KY.
• Develop progressive lesson plans, provide constructive feedback, monitor student progress, and support individual student goals.
• Create choreography for recitals, productions, and community events and assist with rehearsals, performances, and other School of Dance activities.
• Requires formal classical ballet training, comprehensive dance knowledge, and at least one year teaching dancers of various ages and skill levels; additional jazz, hip-hop, lyrical, and/or tap proficiency is preferred.
• Full-time role with flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, rehearsals, and performances; final applicants undergo criminal history and, when appropriate, financial and/or motor vehicle history checks.
