Job Description
• Full-time, on-site Container Shop Welder/Fabricator role in Troy, NC, repairing, painting, and maintaining front, rear, and roll-off waste containers and boxes.
• Performs MIG and ARC welding on steel and aluminum; fabricates components with a brake and shear; cuts steel using a plasma cutter or torch.
• Builds components for hoppers, containers, and compactors; installs lids, wheels, company decals, and safety decals; completes required paperwork.
• Requires certification as a welder plus advanced knowledge of MIG and stick welders, plasma cutters, and airless paint sprayers; basic hand-tool familiarity.
• Requires a minimum of 1 year of welding experience or completion of a welding program, along with strong communication skills and the ability to follow directions with minimal supervision.
