Corporate Finance Underwriting Analyst – Power and Renewable Energy (ADP)

Job Description

• Hybrid Commercial Banking Underwriting Analyst role in First Citizens Bank’s Power and Renewables Energy Group, based in Santa Monica, CA; the Analyst Development Program begins July 7, 2027, with an 8-week on-site curriculum in New York City.
• Assist with credit underwriting and portfolio management for debt solutions supporting middle-market conventional gas, solar, wind, and battery storage projects.
• Build Excel financial models, conduct project due diligence and company/industry analysis, and review engineering, market, insurance, and transmission studies.
• Prepare internal credit memoranda, credit analyses, and marketing materials; participate in live Deal Teams, credit approval meetings, and client/customer calls.
• Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or an Associate’s degree/equivalent plus 2 years’ experience, with coursework or internship exposure to commercial lending or credit analysis, financial statement analysis, and finance fundamentals; pay is $36.06–$43.27/hour in Santa Monica, CA.
