Join us!\n \n\nJob Description:\n\nThe Credit Officer role requires a comprehensive skill set to effectively execute broad risk management responsibilities within Corporate & Financial Institutions Credit Risk. Some of the responsibilities include: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Global Banking & Markets product spectrum; Responsible for driving speed to market and asset quality; Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the portfolio at the client, industry, and macro level in order to assess risk and craft value added solutions that balance risk and return; Independently assess the credit worthiness , including due diligence of prospective borrowers and/or trading counterparties and establish appropriate terms and conditions to mitigate risk within the bank’s risk appetite/strategies; Manage a complex portfolio of clients via actively monitoring the portfolio including changes in credit profile and compliance with credit agreements; Provide high quality and efficient credit approval to Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets and Treasury while observing compliance of established credit policies and guidelines; Structure transactions and negotiate credit documentation including; credit agreements, amendments, ISDAs, and CSAs; Establish appropriate internal risk ratings for clients and implement accurate adjustments throughout the client's credit life cycle; Develop, maintain, and manage internal relationships with business partners including Corporate and Investment Bankers, Sales & Trading, Risk Management, Syndications, and Legal; Participate in strategic projects to support business goals.\n\n\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nResponsible for all aspects of the credit risk management of Municipal Banking and Markets counterparties/issuers\n\nManage a high-volume, fast-paced portfolio using a risk-based approach to support revenue generation while adhering to established credit risk standards\n\nPartner closely with Global Markets stakeholders, including Trading, Structuring, and Sales, as well as internal support functions\n\nEvaluate and support transactions within a dynamic capital markets and trading environment, requiring strong execution and prioritization skills\n\n\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\n5+ years of prior counterparty credit risk management and due diligence experience\n\nProficient with Microsoft Office, Bloomberg\n\n\n\nDesired Qualifications:\n\nFinancial institutions or municipal counterparty experience\n\n\n\nSkills:\n\nAnalytical Thinking\n\nCredit and Risk Assessment\n\nFinancial Analysis\n\nResearch Analysis\n\nUnderwriting\n\nAttention to Detail\n\nBusiness Acumen\n\nFinancial Forecasting and Modeling\n\nLoan Structuring\n\nWritten Communications\n\nBusiness Development\n\nCollaboration\n\nCritical Thinking\n\nPortfolio Analysis\n\nStakeholder Management\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nShift:\n\n1st shift (United States of America)\n\n\n\nHours Per Week: \n\n40\n\n\n\nPay Transparency details\n\n\n\n\n\nUS - NY - New York - ONE BRYANT PARK - BANK OF AMERICA TOWER (NY1100)\n\n\n\nPay and benefits information\n\n\n\nPay range\n\n\n\n$145,000.00 - $198,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.\n\n\n\nDiscretionary incentive eligible\n\n\n\nThis role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan.
