Job Description
• Support the DEA Diversion Control Division with blockchain forensic analysis, cryptocurrency investigations, prosecutions, and seizure or forfeiture of illegally derived property.
• Conduct wallet clustering, mixing analysis, darknet monitoring, transaction tracing, and investigative lead development using Chainalysis, TRM Labs, or CipherTrace.
• Integrate cryptocurrency evidence into financial case files, support investigations involving drug diversion schemes, and provide training and technical assistance to DEA personnel.
• Prepare written reports, exhibits, and expert testimony; requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, 5+ years of blockchain and cryptocurrency investigations experience, security clearance, and U.S. citizenship.
