Job Description
• Senior Cyber Defense Infrastructure Support Engineer supporting the Navy’s cybersecurity environment at the ONI Hopper Global Communications Center in Suitland, MD; full-time, location-based role.
• Builds, configures, integrates, administers, hardens, and maintains cybersecurity systems across complex TS/SCI network environments, including Windows and Unix/Linux systems.
• Provides Tier 3 escalation support, complex troubleshooting, root cause analysis, performance tuning, tool lifecycle management, interoperability validation, and technical documentation.
• Requires an active TS/SCI clearance in DISS, 6+ years operating cybersecurity technologies, 10+ years with LAN/WAN and networking technologies, and 15+ years relevant experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
• Requires an active DoD 8570 IAT/IAM Level II/III certification such as SecurityX CE or CASP, plus Computing Environment certification; each may be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Compensation is $107,900.00–$195,050.00.
